Staff and NICU Families Reunite This Weekend

(Bangor, Maine) – When newborns have complications upon coming into this world and need immediate and intensive care, Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU, is here to help. Our experts help these little patients to thrive and allow them to live happy, healthy lives.
This Sunday, May 6 from 2-4 pm, at our annual NICU Reunion, families, staff, and caregivers will reunite to share memories, stories, and laughter to celebrate those who had a rough start in life.
The event brings families and staff together to share wonderful success stories of newborns who have needed special medical attention in the beginning and have grown up strong and healthy. This is a great way for staff to reconnect with families who are so appreciative for the care provided to their babies at a fragile time.

All former NICU patients and families are invited to join us this weekend for stories of hope, joy, and inspiration.
Members of the media interested in attending at 2 pm on Sunday should confirm by Friday, May 4 by 4:30 pm by calling 973-9530.
