EMMC Staff and NICU Families Reunite This Weekend

(Bangor, Maine) – Many newborns have complications when coming into this world and need immediate and intensive care. These instances require the EMMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our experts help these little patients to thrive and allow them to live happy, healthy lives.
Join us this Sunday, May 7 from 2 to 4 pm for our NICU Reunion where families, staff, and caregivers reunite to share memories, stories, and laughter to celebrate those who had a rough start in life.
“This event brings families and staff together to share wonderful success stories of newborns who need special medical attention in the beginning and have grown up strong and healthy,” says Lisa Barnett, RN, MSN, staff nurse, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. “It’s a great way for staff to reconnect with families who are so appreciative for the care provided to their babies at a fragile time.”
Join us this weekend for stories of hope, joy, and inspiration from our tiniest patients and their families.
