Care Management Medical Director
Eastern Maine Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a physician leader to join our Care Management Team. 

The Care Management Medical Director is an administrative role that will support Care Management and Utilization Review initiatives.  The CM Medical Director will be responsible for upholding the Conditions of Participation regarding Utilization review, including managing admission, concurrent and retrospective review of cases referred by case management or the department’s professional staff.  In addition, the CM Medical director will chair the UR committee and act as a champion for case management personnel on physician related issues and act in support of case management processes and procedures.

The CM Medical Director will be a credentialed member of the EMMC medical staff and must have an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maine.

Preference shall be given for individuals with prior experience as a physician reviewer for Medicare, Medicaid PRO, a managed care company, as a hospital medical director or in a leading collaborate groups in performance improvement.
Developmental Pediatrician
Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks an additional Developmental Pediatrician to join our interdisciplinary team, which currently  includes 1.5 FTE Developmental Pediatricians, 3 Clinical Psychologists, and occupational, physical, and speech therapists. We enjoy a broad clinical practice that includes interdisciplinary assessments, medical management, and outreach clinics at health centers in rural areas. There is also the opportunity to teach medical students and Family Medicine residents. We are seeking a physician board certified/board eligible in Developmental Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.

Emergency Medicine Fellowship Physician- 2019 Start

Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a BC/BE Neurologist to join our Neurology team at our Inland Hospital practice located in Waterville, Maine. Practicing at Inland Hospital offers the small office experience with all the benefits of an affiliation with a large tertiary care center and progressive health system. General neurologists and neurologists with sub-specialty interests will be considered. EEG or EMG experience a plus but not necessary. Schedule is Monday-Friday with no hospital call required.

 Neuropsychology of Maine, a service of the Maine Rehabilitation Center at Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC), seeks a full-time clinical neuropsychologist. Clinical practice consists of a combination of inpatient and outpatient assessments for a full range of disorders including traumatic brain injuries, dementing disorders, stroke, degenerative neurological diseases, attentional impairment, seizure disorders, chronic psychiatric conditions and learning disorders. Candidates must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited psychology program and internship, have a minimum of two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, and be license-eligible in the State of Maine. The ideal candidate would have experience with both pediatric and adult patients.

EMMC is in the final stages of a modernization including a Neuroscience center with a concentration on Stroke and Complex Spine. This modernization will consist of upgrades to our facility, operating room and equipment including a state-of-the-art 3D C-Arm guide and Image Guided Navigation systems.
