For more than 30 years, EMMC Surgical Weight Loss has been helping people reshape their lives through education, access to state-of-the-art surgery for weight loss, and a strong support network.
EMMC Surgical Weight Loss was created in 2002 and was recognized as a Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from 2005 to 2009. Since 2009, our program has been accredited through the American College of Surgeons as a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, and was reaccredited in 2015.
We have the distinction of being one of the first surgery and weight loss centers in the country to offer robotically assisted surgical weight loss for appropriate surgical candidates and we have become a national and worldwide leader and resource for this technique.
