It is my privilege to welcome you to the Heart Center of Eastern Maine. The physicians and staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center are honored to take care of you and your loved ones as we have for other patients for more than 40 years.

Our physicians and surgeons have trained at the leading cardiac centers in the world, and provide the most up to date surgical techniques available anywhere. We perform more than 53,845 cardiac procedures and tests each year; our experience is broad and ever growing, and our results are comparable to the best centers throughout the country.

EMMC was also recently recognized as a national leader in providing high quality, safe healthcare by The Joint Commission, achieving an overall composite score of 99 percent in all four clinical areas: heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia care, and surgical care. Read more here.
