EMMC Holds Birth Night for Expectant Parents
(Bangor, Maine) – Welcoming a baby is the first of many memorable moments for a growing family. Eastern Maine Medical Center knows all parents want to feel prepared and knowledgeable about programs and services in our community to make this joyous time a little easier.
On Tuesday, April 29, EMMC will host the spring 2014 Birth Night, from 6-8 pm in Mason Auditorium on EMMC’s State Street campus. If you are a new parent, expectant parent, or planning for a baby in the future, this free program offers information about the services new parents can access at EMMC and the surrounding communities, including baby massage, infant and child CPR, childbirth education classes, and much more.
At 6:15 pm, there will be presentations on InfantSEE®: A public health program designed to provide no cost comprehensive eye exams to infants age 6 to 12 months, and The Fourth Trimester: Creating a womb with a view for your newborn.
