EMMC Holds Birth Night for Expectant Parents
Bangor, Maine – Welcoming a baby into the world is the first of many memorable moments for a growing family. Eastern Maine Medical Center knows all parents want to feel prepared and knowledgeable about programs and services in our community to make this joyous time a little easier. On Tuesday, April 30, EMMC will host the spring 2013 Birth Night, from 6-8 pm in Mason Auditorium on EMMC’s State Street campus. If you are a new parent, expectant parent, or planning for a baby in the future, this free program offers information about the services EMMC and the surrounding communities offer including baby massage, infant and child CPR, childbirth education classes, and much more.
At 6:45, there will be a presentation on the benefits of yoga during pregnancy and labor.
Editor’s Note: Media interested in learning more about Birth Night are encouraged to call EMMC’s Media Hotline at 973-9530. We’re happy to set up an interview ahead of the event.
