At Husson Internal Medicine, we strive to provide ongoing care that places the patient and family at the center of the care team by using a Patient-Centered 
Medical Home approach. The primary care practice works to organize all elements of care to assure the patient/family receive the agreed upon care in a timely fashion. The primary care practice uses guidelines and clinical decision support to guide patient care across all stages of life to include acute, chronic, preventive and end-of-life care.

History
Husson Internal Medicine was started in 1998 as a Norumbega Medical office then merged with Eastern Maine Medical Center in 2004 to continue to provide care for the residents of the Bangor and surrounding areas. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been able to grow our practice to 8 providers who serve over 8000 patients.
Husson Internal Medicine now offers patients the opportunity to email their healthcare provider with any questions or concerns about their non-urgent, healthcare needs through a secure patient portal.
