Daniel Gott, DO
Dr. Gott is our lead physician at EMMC Family Medicine in Hampden. A resident of Hampden since 1988, Dr. Gott completed his degrees in Biochemistry and Microbiology at UMaine. After completing medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and a family medicine residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center, he practiced at EMMC Family Medicine Brewer for 11 years. In 2013, Dr. Gott continued his partnership with EMMC in establishing a family medicine practice in his hometown of Hampden. Dr. Gott’s interests include healthcare innovation, aerospace medicine, and optimizing health outcomes through lifestyle changes. In addition to his work in Hampden, Dr. Gott serves as a flight surgeon with the MAINEiac’s at the Maine Air National Guard in Bangor. His personal interests include enjoying time with his family, flying, and international culture.
Kristopher O'Connell, DO
Dr. O'Connell is originally from Houlton, Maine. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and attended University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Sarah Chamberlain, DO
Dr. Chamberlain is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She attended school at Saint Louis University receiving a BA in biology. She later attended the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Lee Silkman, MD
Dr. Silkman was raised in Maine and is very happy to raise her own family here. She attended Boston University School of Public Health and American University of the Caribbean.
Alicia Grant, FNP
Alicia, who is originally from Cape Breton, joined EMMC in 2012. She graduated with her BScN from St. Francis Xavier/Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia and with her Masters of Nursing from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her interests include women’s health, cardiology, health screening and prevention, and working with patient’s to improve their health and well-being. Alicia’s personal interests include being physically active, travelling, learning, and reading.
John "Dutch" Stephens, PA-C
Dutch graduated from the Albany Hudson Valley Physician Assistant Program. He has worked in primary care as a Physician Assistant for 27 years. Dutch joined the EMMC team in November 2011. He enjoys all aspects of primary care but has a special interest in pediatrics and mental health.
