The Center for Family Medicine is a teaching program for family physicians. Our resident physicians have graduated from medical school and are at Eastern Maine Medical Center for three years of training which covers internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, and psychiatry. The resident physicians are supervised by a group of board certified family physicians who serve as faculty members of the program.
