March 14 Storm Update

A significant winter storm is affecting the region today, Tuesday, March 14 and continuing into Wednesday, March 15. EMMC is committed to serving our patients' needs while ensuring the safety of our patients and employees. With this in mind, some of the services we provide will be affected for the rest of the day and tomorrow morning.

The following practices will be closing early on Tuesday, March 14:
  • Allergy and Immunology Specialists - Closing at 1 pm
  • Eastern Maine Otolaryngology - Closing at 1 pm
  • EMMC Surgical Weight Loss - Closing at 1 pm
  • Northeast Surgery of Maine - Closing at 1 pm
  • Infectious Disease Professional Services - Closing at 2 pm
  • Surgery & Trauma Specialists of Maine - Closing at 2 pm
  • Pediatric Orthopedics - Closing at 2 pm
  • EMMC Family Medicine Center and Residency - Closing at 2 pm
  • Maine Rehabilitation Outpatient Center - Closing at 2:30 pm
  • EMMC University Medicine/Culter Health Center - Closing at 2:30 pm
  • Plastic and Hand Surgical Specialists - Closing at 3 pm
  • Urologic Surgery of Maine - Closing at 3 pm
  • Retina Associates of Maine - Closing at 2:30 pm
  • Cardiothoracic Surgery of Maine - Closing at 4 pm
  • Rheumatology Specialists - Closing at 4 pm

The following practice will be opening late on Wednesday, March 15:
  • EMMC Internal Medicine, Husson Avenue - Opening at 8 am
  • Infectious Disease Professional Services - Opening at 8:30 am
  • EMMC University Medicine/Culter Health Center - Opening at 10 am
  • EMMC Family Medicine, Hampden - Opening at 9:30 am

Walk-In Care at the EMMC Healthcare Mall on Union Street will be open until 7 pm on Monday, and EMMC’s Emergency Department on State Street is open around the clock to serve our patients.

Except where noted above, all services are expected to open on time on Wednesday morning. Patients are asked to contact their provider’s office to reschedule if they have questions about their appointment.
