At EMMC, we are committed to employee development and continuing education. Our Education and Training Center provides ongoing in-house education and facilitates numerous conferences and seminars. The Bangor area features a number of colleges and universities, and EMMC offers tuition reimbursement and loan programs to eligible employees who are pursuing job-related studies.
Financial aid may be available to a regular full-time or regular part-time employee (after one year of continuous service) to improve his/her job-related skills through additional training with the department head's approval. Financial aid at EMMC takes the form of either tuition reimbursement or loans. Generally, financial aid is considered on an individual basis, and courses must offer a direct and clear benefit to both the employee and to EMMC. Departmental supervisors can provide additional information regarding these programs.
